Located on the eastern shore of Virginia, Chesapeake Bay KOA is a fantastic addition to camping in the Chesapeake Bay region. It’s the perfect spot to spend tons of time relaxing on the beach and exploring the surrounding area.
Chesapeake Bay KOA is owned by Bluewater Development, a private company that also manages Massey’s Landing in Delaware and the Chincoteague KOA in Virginia. From what we have seen so far, they are doing a great job bringing the hotel resort point of view to their campground properties.
Note: This campground was called the Sunset Beach RV Resort when we visited. It has since turned into a KOA and we updated this post to reflect the change in name.
