  • Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park: Hill Country, TX offers all the fun of a Jellystone combined with all of the beauty of Hill Country. Located within an hour’s drive of Austin, San Antonio, and Fredericksburg, this park is a great basecamp for families exploring the popular Hill Country region of south-central Texas.

Campsite Details: Jellystone Park Hill Country

This Jellystone offers a taste of the beautiful Hill Country scenery that has visitors flocking to this region. Generous trees and rolling hills create a welcoming retreat. Interspersed in this landscape, you’ll find an array of campsites. Rustic tent sites start at $46 per night, while deluxe red carpet sites start at $64 per night. Expect to pay more on holidays and during prime seasons.

There is a wide range of site quality, which we detail in a video on our blog post. Sites closer to the prime amenities are small and tighter; however, families with kids will appreciate their convenience. Sites at the back of the park are more generous.

Amenities and Activities: Jellystone Park Hill Country

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park: Hill Country is packed with amenities. The eye-popping splash park (complete with water slides) draws the kids in on a hot Texas day, as does the indoor and outdoor pools. Kids can burn some energy on the jumping pillow, disc golf course, laser tag zone, gaga ball pit, and basketball and volleyball courts.

“Hey Hey” rides, complete with water guns, will also be a big hit. Themed weekends and a full slate of activities keep the party going around the clock. Even the dogs can have fun, thanks to the Bark Park.

The entertainment isn’t contained to the campground. For an extra fee, the park will transport you to the Guadalupe River for a tube ride, a quintessential Hill Country activity. And, across the street, you’ll find the popular Whitewater on the Horseshoe concert venue.
